World Pharmacists Day Awareness Campaigns and Preparations

Pharmacists play a key role in helping patients feel better and get well as quickly as possible. Patients do best when pharmacists are part of their healthcare teams because pharmacists are the medication specialists. Pharmacists improve medication adherence. They are culturally competent healthcare providers who communicate effectively to evaluate many factors that affect a patient’s ability to take a medication. These include diet, lifestyle, transportation, language barriers and much more.
Each year on September 25, World Pharmacist Day is celebrated in order to recognize their services.
World Pharmacists Day awareness continues today at all branches of Umar Pharmacy Chain.
Awareness flexes have been displayed at all stores and community is properly educated regarding the role of Pharmacist in healthcare.

Exhibition of Services at “Made in KPK” Event

Umar Pharmacy exhibited their services at the “Made in KPK” exhibition held at PC hotel on September 21, 2021.
Some well known celebrities also visited the stalls of Umar Pharmacy and appreciated the efforts and working of Umar Pharmacy team in social activities and public health.
Mr. Kamran Bangash (Minister for IT) and Mr. Jamshed Ali Khan (Senior Host, AVT Khyber) put their special remarks regarding the services of Umar Pharmacy.

Visit of CEO Surgimad Hospital & Medical College

Prof. Dr. Shaheena Asif (Senior Gynecologist & CEO Surgimad Hospital/Medical College Lahore) and Mr. Tahzeem Ahmad Kambo (Ex-Governor Rotary District Peshawar, Rotary International) visited University Road branch.
Mr. Khurshid Khan (Chairman) was the host.
The guests appreciated efforts of Umar Pharmacy for the community and congratulated the Umar Pharmacy management for their efforts in the modern field of pharmacy services.
