Job Overview:
The Cashier at Umar Pharmacy Chain is responsible for handling all cash transactions, maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong financial expertise, attention to detail and ability to prepare daily sales reports and transaction summaries.

Requirements:

  • Education: Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cash handling within a retail or similar environment.
  • Cash Handling Skills: Proficient in managing cash transactions and balancing cash register.
  • Record-Keeping: Capable of maintaining detailed sales reports, transaction records and daily financial summaries.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all financial transactions and reporting.
  • Sales Reporting: Ability to generate and interpret daily sales reports and summaries.
  • Communication Skills: Strong customer service skills with clear and effective communication.
  • Basic Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial summaries.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to resolve any discrepancies in cash transactions.
  • Integrity: High level of trustworthiness and adherence to ethical standards.
